I grew up in a small town in China and moved to the U.S. by myself when I was 15. Studying abroad in a completely different place wasn’t easy, especially at such a young age.
From day school with a host family to boarding school and eventually college at UCLA, my journey has been full of trial. As a first-generation student, I often felt lost when it came to things like college applications and career planning.
That’s why I created this space—to share what I’ve learned and hopefully make the path a little clearer for others like me. If you're just starting out or feeling uncertain, I hope my experiences can offer you some guidance, support, and encouragement. You're not alone. 💛
